On Tuesday 19 March at 3.00 p.m., the ground floor of the Social Sciences Library will host the inauguration of the travelling exhibition by the artist Square "Visionaries", a new incursion of contemporary art into the University.
Speakers will include Prof. Ersilia Menesini for the institutional greetings, Prof. Massimo Gurioli, President of the Faculty of Optics and Optometry (from which the exhibition originates), and Gian Luca Caciagli, curator.
The exhibition, consisting of 11 panels, presents a series of characters revisited in a pop key who have changed history with their imaginary vision, from Dante Alighieri to Leonardo Da Vinci, from Sigmund Freud to Coco Chanel.
The exhibition is open to the public and can be visited until 18 May from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
