In October, the Readings in the Centre initiative will be dedicated to the National Festival of Civil Economy, which will be held in Florence from 3 to 6 October in collaboration with the University of Florence. The event is proposed as an opportunity for discussion and dialogue to design development models aimed at creating a more equitable, inclusive and solidarity-based society.
The inaugural day will be held on Thursday 3 October at the Novoli Campus: the programme includes a hackathon open to one hundred Unifi students and their ideas and a speech by Nobel Peace Prize winner Muhammad Yunus, creator of modern microcredit.
