From 11 to 19 October, the Humanities Library presents an exhibition of books and documents dedicated to Piergiuseppe Scardigli, a professor of Germanic Philology at the University of Florence from 1969 to 1996.
The conference in honour of Piergiuseppe Scardigli, scheduled for 11st October (Sala Comparetti of the Humanities Library, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.), aim to present his figure as a scholar and lecturer and his contribution to the promotion and development of the discipline, both nationally and internationally.
Inauguration of the exhibition will follow the conference at 4pm on 11st October.
The event is part of the FORLILPSI initiatives, Il futuro con l’acCENTO organised to celebrate the Florentine university's centenary and dedicated to the 'masters' and 'teachers' of the department's various disciplines.
Exhibition opening hours: Monday-Friday 8.30 a.m.- 7 p.m. – Saturday 8.30 a.m. -1.30 p.m.
